The workshop covers the different environmental sounds that we hear every day, from walking to running, and rain and thunder

Rhythm

Helping participants to improve their rhythmic language using speech/sign and appreciate music. This workshop covers the range and variety of beats and pulse associated with rhythm. It also develops an understanding of literacy focusing on the components of rhythm; crotchet, quaver, triplet and semi-quaver.

Genres

Visual and interactive training for deaf children introducing them to a range of musical genres, and deaf artists and developing their skills as they explore ways of composing their own music. As well as giving some musical understanding to participants, this workshop promotes creativity and exploration. The genres include: classical music, hip hop, reggae, rock, Disney and Bollywood.
